This version of the Chimera was specificallydesigned for use with cartridges only. The machine has a stroke of 5 mm. Theimpact hardness of the Chimera can be adjusted with a screw on the rear part ofthe machine in order to set an optimal run for the different degrees ofhardness from different module manufacturers. Hardness can be increased by turningthe rear screw clockwise. This makes it possible to work with Big Liners/MegaMagnums as well as with Fineline needles. As an additional gimmick, O-rings areincluded in the scope of delivery to fix the needle bar to the armature bar.Bearings, springs, mechanisms and the geometry of the frame have been optimizedto withstand intensive use. The Chimera is a machine for thoroughbredprofessionals who can also handle coil machines and who want to be able tooptimally adjust their work equipment to their needs.
